Description

Successfully rehomed by National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network

Owen is a darling 8 month old brittany/border collie mix.  Owen is a very smart, active, energetic pup who would do best in a home with another dog to play with.  anyone interested in adopting Owen should have a yard with secure 6-foot fencing since he is a very active pup.  He will need daily exercise although he is too young to take running.  Any potential adopter should also plan to take Owen to obedience classes in order to help him become the excellent companion that he is capable of being.   Once he has mastered basic training, agility might be a good option for Owen. While Owen is housebroken, he still some help in that area because of his youth.

Because of Owen’s age, breed mix and activity level, homes with small children and toddlers would not be the best fit.  Older dog-savvy children should be fine.  A home with another young dog to play with would be a good option for Owen.  Owen has just been diagnosed with a seizure disorder and is being maintained successfully with phenobarbital.  He will need to be on this drug (which is inexpensive) for the rest of his life.Owen has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $350.00.  If interested in adding Owen to your family, please complete an on-line application at www.nbran.org (under “Adoption Center”).  You may then contact Susan for further info at 206.524.3066 or wanbran@comcast.net  .
