Wa-buddy
Description
Buddy is a very sweet, sensitive six-year-old boy in search of his forever family. With the most beautiful deep orange and white coat that his foster parents have ever seen, Buddy gets many compliments from everyone who meets him. While we don't know a lot about Buddy's background, he is a very loving boy who seems starved for affection. Buddy wants to be close to his people, and is eager to please, and thus has been easy to train. He is a happy, "velcro" dog who loves to sit with his head in your lap by the hour. He is very good in the house, loves to ride in the car, sleeps on a dog bed at night next to his foster parents and is completely housebroken. While he likes to play with other dogs, he is jealous of his humans' affection and thus would be best in an ”only-dog” home. However, we believe he would be fine at the dog park or walking on a leash near other dogs. He gets along well with his foster family's pack of Brittanys, but prefers to have his humans to himself. Buddy has a strong prey drive, and thus should not be in a home with cats, chickens or other small animals. Buddy thrives on routine, and would be a good fit for quietly assertive adults who can provide him with structure and predictability, and gain his trust. Once Buddy trusts you, he is extremely loyal and devoted. He is extremely athletic and requires a 6-foot fenced yard. He would be an excellent running or walking partner, and will need regular exercise. Buddy is current on his vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He can be transported 1200-1400 miles via our wonderful volunteer drivers. Buddy’s adoption fee is $375.00.If interested in making Buddy a member of your family, please complete an on-line app at www.nbran.org (under “Adoption Center”) and then contact Susan with any questions at 206.524.3066 or wanbran@comcast.net..
