Saluki's!!

Description

We have welcomed 3 purebred Saluki males into rescue.   They are currently 9 mo old and 45 lbs. They are feathered and creme.  They are working on house training and crate training.  Thus far, they have been well socialized and even coexisting with a cat, small breed and medium dogs! They are very sweet boys and will be working with their foster momma with the basics including walking on a leash and basic commands until they are adopted.  We are looking for adopters that either have knowledge of the breed or are willing to learn a lot about them.  Saluki's do best in 6 ft wood fenced yards and within active families that will allow them to run.  Saluki's are lazy inside dogs but are beautiful breeds with great agility/coursing skills. PB/Khazi- is the darkest/fawn & creme feathered male.  He is initially a little more shy than his brothers but is very social if given an opportunity.  Khazi (as I call him now) would do best in a home with other dogs.  Khazi is my "talker"!  It's never a bark is more of little howls and like he's trying to talk to me.  He is the first to let you know he is there and thinks you are his pillow. Uriel- is the lightest creme and less feathered body male.  Absolutely stunning!  He's very social, walks great on a leash, prances and would be great either as an only dog or with others.  Uriel is a great listener.  He loves to get in your face and nose butt you- his form of giving a kiss. Rafi/Rafael- is lighter fawn and creme and very feathered.  He is very playful with everyone.  Loves to run and punce around!  He and my mini poodle/bichon have matching energy levels when playing.  Again, very lazy inside the house.  Very loving and demonstrates his affection by hubbing up against you and lowering his head, rubbing the side of his face and neck on your face. I can't say enough wonderful things about these adorable, stunning boys.  These guys would do great as family dogs. Home visit required.  All of our adopted dogs require contracts, applications, neuter, chips, vaccination and medical history.  If you are interested, please fill out an adoption application along with your inquiry and send to kcchrld@hotmail.com.   We will not have these puppies visible to anyone not willing to fill out an adoption application first.  Sorry for the inconvenience but we are hopeful to find fantastic forever families for these special boys. ADOPTION EVENT EVERY SATURDAY AT THE PETSMART ON MANCHESTER AND 141 FROM 11 TO 4..
