Successfully rehomed by Ferry Dog Mothers

Nelly is the cutest little mix of beautiful blue Weimaraner and Staffordshire Terrier. She is approximately 2-2.5 years old, weighs only 35 lbs and very much a puppy in a lot of ways. Nelly was rescued out of rural Georgia and has not had an easy life- we are trying to make it easier on her by sending her across the country to Washington state to find people who know and love her breeds! True to her Weimaraner breed , she is not very independent! She will be your constant companion and be the true “Velcro dog”. It might take her a few mins (and maybe some treats) to warm up to the man in your house as we suspect some guys were mean to her in her former life.

But she will “lean” on him just like her female owner soon enough! Nelly is looking for an active owner that will enjoy walks or hikes or runs with her. She will appreciate games and loves being out and about. Nellie is highly intelligent and would love to learn agility too. Her hound like nose and partial prey drive possibly collates to no kitties, though we do not know that for sure.
