Successfully rehomed by Heart of Jackson Humane Society, Inc.

Jewel was found as a stray so her background is not known. A DNA test shows her breeds include: American Foxhound/Cocker Spaniel Mix, Basset Hound, Cesky Terrier, Saluki, Smooth Fox Terrier, and German Short Haired Pointer. Of these breeds, she mostly matches the description of Saluki so we have listed this as the primary breed. Jewel is nearly one year old now and 38#. When we got her, she was very unsocialized and scared but she has been in a foster home for several months and is now more comfortable with people. She loves to be held and petted and would probably do best without small children as sudden noises and movements scare her. She is scared of some men. She is heartworm negative, spayed, and has current vax. Her adoption fee is $125. An Avid microchip and registration is available for an additional $25..
