Meet Stenson, a handsome Pointer cross.

Stenson loves his walks and exploring so he can sniff out all the best smells! After a tiring day out and about he likes to curl up next to you or sit across your lap so he can receive lots of fuss. Stenson is quick to learn, particularly if you have a tasty treat or a toy waiting.

Stenson could live with children who are experienced around bouncy dogs, pending meets at the centre. He is social with other dogs when on walks but can be a bit boisterous, so would be best suited to being the only dog in his new home. Due to his breed traits he would not be suitable to live with cats or small animals.

If you are looking for a cuddly, lovable and playful dog to take you on plenty of adventures then Stenson is definitely the dog for you!

We'd love for you to come and see us. Visitors are welcome to walk around the equine walkway, cattery and small animal section. However, we operate restricted viewing of the dogs to minimise their stress levels.

PLEASE NOTE:
We may have a few dogs on the Burford site with kennel cough at the moment. Therefore owners of existing dogs wishing to adopt another dog are advised to contact the small animal department and speak to a member of staff who can advise on our procedures before visiting to see individual dogs.
