Snow

Description

Snow is an elegant, gentle and loving Lurcher. He is currently spending time in a foster home & his foster mum says that 'he has been an absolute joy to look after'.  He is fully house-trained, travels well in the car, is very calm and relaxed indoors and loves to snooze the time away sprawled out on his duvet and having cuddles.

He also likes to charge about in the garden and as he has settled in has also become very playful. Snow's foster carer says that 'whilst Snow is a gentle and quiet soul, he is also a very happy lad, who loves to toss his favourite teddy into the air and catch it!'.  He will need his own private, secure garden in order to allow him to burn off some energy and to practice his recall training.

Due to his breed type he will need to wear a muzzle when being walked and may always need to be walked on a lead. He is happy to be left alone for a couple of hours and settles well. Snow can be a little defensive around other dogs on first meeting, but soon settles and relaxes well and shows good social skills. He may be able to live with a calm adult dog of a similar size in his new home. His new owners will need an understanding of Sighthounds and must be confident in continuing with his on-going socialisation with other dogs.

Snow deserves a special new home after having had a very poor start. He will make a fantastic, affectionate and rewarding dog to his new family. Snow is currently spending time in a foster home, so please call 01784 494 443 to arrange to meet him.
