Gyp

Description

Successfully rehomed by Blue Cross - Thirsk

Gyp is a 4 year old Bedlington Terrier/Whippet cross.

She has come to the centre as she did not always get on with the dogs that she lived with who were all female. She may be ok to live with a steady male dog but probably best as an only dog for her next home. She does not really want to interact with other dogs much at the centre and would rather have her handler all to herself.

She is a sweet natured girl who likes a cuddle but does have a sensitive side to her personality so would be best suited to a quiet but active home that will give her the time and space to make friends when she wants to.

Gyp will need new owners who are around a lot of the time but could possibly be left home alone for short periods and built up gradually.

From her evidence in her previous home Gyp would not be compatible to live with cats or other small furry animals. She will also need a securely fenced in garden as she can squeeze through gaps if the opportunity arises.

We have found her to be an absolute delight. She has got to know us now and is generally a nice well behaved dog who, in the right hands, will make a lovely companion. She does like her walks but will probably enjoy a cuddle on the sofa with you once she has had a little exercise too.

Please ask about Gyp by completing the on-line form and a member of the team who knows her will contact you.
