Gladys

Description

Hello, my name is Gladys,

I’m a seven year old female American Bulldog and English Bulldog type crossbreed. I arrived at The Mayhew after being found abandoned on the streets of London.

I’m a sensible, gentle and sensitive girl. I’m aloof and unsure of strangers but once I’ve built a bond with someone I’m very loyal and loving. I’m calm and well-behaved, I know the usual commands and I also walk nicely on my lead without pulling. I enjoy going to the park and I get along very well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’m not really into toys, I’d much rather be having cuddles! My favourite past time is to sit quietly next to someone for attention.

I’m now looking for a forever home with a person or all-adult family who have owned dogs before and researched my breed type. I’d happily share my new home with another dog but no cats please. My new owners will be expected to provide me with a minimum of one hour of off-lead exercise every day. If you’re interested in adopting me you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, you’ll be taking on an eight year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.

I hope to see you soon,

Gladys x
