Meet the lovely Augustus who is looking for a new home at Blue Cross Southampton.

Augustus is about 1 years-old and is a lurcher. He is a lovely, lively lad who is very sweet and friendly but is also quite sensitive. With people he meets he is happy to say hello and have some fuss.

Like all lurchers he loves to be able to have a run and stretch his legs and go a little crazy! When out walking he is a pleasure to walk on the lead and meets and greets other dogs nicely. We feel that he could possibly live with another dog but this would be pending a successful meeting at the centre. However Augustus would not be suitable to live with cats or smaller animals and we feel that he could possibly live with school aged children following a successful meeting at the centre.
