Successfully rehomed by Chesterfield Animal Centre

Chalkie is a very friendly, loving dog towards people and enjoys lots of grooming, fuss and attention but his favourite thing is spending time with his friend Gypsy another Akita that he came into the centre with.

Chalike gets on really well with Gypsy but he is not good around other dogs at the moment, we would prefer him to be re-homed as an only dog but once settled in a loving home environment away from kennels, this may change. Chalkie loves going for walks but he is a big dog and can be a little strong on the lead, however he does walk much better with a walking aid. When Chalkie has been for a walk he loves to relax and chill out.

Chalkie is a real gentle giant, his perfect match would be an owner who has previous large dog breed experience and is able to handle him and give him the time and care he needs to lead a happy and healthy life.
